Newly appointed CEO, Dianne Hallett said future funding concerns and operational reform for all community transport organisations will be some of the main issues for the CTO in the coming months. Di brings vast experience, compassion and drive to the CTO table.
With key understanding of these and many more challenges, the CTO will lead the community transport industry through what is bound to be lumpy process, with major changes in the pipeline. At the heart of every community transport organisation, there are devoted volunteers and staff, going to great lengths to provide an essential service for disadvantaged members of the community and it’s the CTO’s job to make sure those efforts thrive for the betterment of the community.
Ms. Hallett’s appointment to the role as CEO is a real win for the community transport sector. Her experience in working with culturally diverse communities and financially disadvantaged people both in Australia and overseas will bring great insight to the CTO.
Ms. Hallett has experience in a range of different projects for not-for-profit, small business and government organisations. She also regularly consults and advocates for support in governance direction and operational reform.
