Reporting directly to the City Manager, The General Manager, Transportation Services will be responsible for a diverse portfolio overseeing the operation of the transit and road system. He/She will be responsible for executing the City's Transportation Master Plan The Way We Move through their management team and over 3,800 employees.
As the successful candidate, you are a city builder who’s focus is not just on transportation. You have over 15 years of experience in progressive leadership positions in complex organizations where transportation (transit, LRT, roads) experience is an asset. A visionary leader, you will foster relationships with City Council, senior leadership team, Public and your team to ensure the continued success and ongoing development of The City’s Strategic Plan.

EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The Community Transport Organisation (CTO) is the peak body for Community Transport Services in NSW. Community Transport provides a range of transport services to disadvantaged individuals in our communities.
Working directly for the Board we are seeking an innovative and dynamic achiever to guide the organisation and provide leadership to the Community Transport Sector.
The Executive Officer will be required to grow the CTO and industry profile by engaging key stakeholders and influencing public policy decision makers.
Your exceptional marketing and communication strengths will secure new income for the CTO to allow the organisation to advance the community’s understanding of the vital role community transport plays in promoting independence and social inclusion for our communities.
Your career to date will likely have some background in management of a Peak Body or a HACC or Community Transport Service.
An attractive performance based remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
